74ACT11181

     The 74ACT11181 high-performance CMOS device combine very high speed and high output drive comparable to the most advanced TTL families. The 74AC/ACT11181 arithmetic logic units(ALU) are controlled by four function select inputs(S0-S3)and the mode control input(M) and can perform all the 16 possible or 16 different arithmetic operations on active-High or active-Low operands. 
    The eight unique features of the 74ACT11181: The first one is it provides 16 airthmetic operations which is add , subtract, compare, double, and 12 other arithmetic  operations.The second one is it provides all 16 logic operations of two variables which is exclusive-OR, compare, AND,NAND,NOR,OR,plus 10 other logic operations. The third one is full look-ahead carry for high-speed arithmetic operation on long words. The forth one is ouput capability is ±24 mA. The fifth one is CMOS (AC) and TTL(ACT) voltage level inputs. The sixth one is 50 incident wave switching. The seventh one is center-pin Vcc and ground configuration to minimize hihg-speed switching noise. The eighth one is Icc category which is MSI.
     There are some recommended operating conditions about the 74ACT11181. DC supply voltage(Vcc) is  4.5V min , 5.0 V nom and 5.5 V max. Input voltage(Vi) is 0 V min and Vcc max. Output voltage(Vo) is 0 V min and Vcc max. Input transition rise or fall rate is o ns/V min and 10 ns/V max. Operating free-air temperature range (Tamb) is -40 min and +85 max. Also ,there are also some absolute maximum ratings about it. DC supply voltage(Vcc) is -0.5 V to +7.0 V . DC input voltage is -0.5 V to Vcc+0.5 V .DC output voltage is -0.5 V to Vcc+0.5 V .  DC output source or sink current per output pin is ±50 mA when Vo is 0 V to Vcc. DC Vcc current is ±200 mA. DC ground current is ±200 mA. Storage temperature is -65 to 150 . Power dissipation per package is 500 mW (Above 70; derate linearly by 8m W/K). Power dissipation per package plastic surface mount(SO) is 400 mW(Above 70; derate linearly by 8 m W/K).
