74HC595D

The 74HC595D belongs to the 74HC595 series. It is a high-speed Si-gate CMOS device and is pin compatible with low power Schottky TTL(LSTTL). It is available in the plastic SO16 package. It can be used in serial-to-parallel data conversion and remote control holding register.

There are some features as follows. (1) 8-bit serial input; (2) 8-bit serial or parallel output; (3)storage register with 3-state outputs; (4) shift register with direct clear; (5) 100 MHz (typ) shift out frequency; (6) output capability; (7) ICC category.

(1): propagation delay is 16 ns at the condition of CL is 15 pF and VCC is 5 V; (2): maximum clock frequency is 100 MHz; (3): input capacitance (CI) is 3.5 pF; (4): power dissipation capacitance per package(CPD) is 115 pF for notes 1 and notes 2; (5): the typical hold time is -6 ns and the minimum is 3 ns when Tamb is 25 ,and is 3 ns for the minimum when Tamb is from -40 to 85 .
