7815/MOR

The 7815/MOR is one member of the LM78XX series which designed as the three terminal regulators. It is available in an aluminum TO-3 package which will allow over 1.0A load current if adequate heat sinking is provided and if internal power dissipation becomes too high for the heat sinking provided, the thermal shutdown circuit takes over preventing the IC from overheating.

Features of the 7815/MOR are:(1)output current in excess of 1A;(2)internal thermal overload protection;(3)no external components required;(4)output transistor safe area protection;(5)internal short circuit current limit;(6)available in the aluminum TO-3 package.
