General Description
80C198-16 General Description
The 80C198-16 is a kind of CHMOS microcontroller. Intel's CHMOS process provides a high performance along with low power dissipation. To further reduce power requirements, the processor can be placed into Idle or Powerdown Mode. With the commercial (standard) temperature option, operational characteristics are guaranteed over the temperature range of 0 to +70. With the extended temperature range option, operational characteristics are guaranteed over the temperature range of -40 to +85.
There are some features as follows: (1)8 Kbytes of on-chip ROM available; (2)232 byte register file; (3)register-to-register architecture; (4)28 interrupt sources/16 vectors; (5)1.75s 16*16 multiply (16 MHz); (6)3.0s 32/16 Divide (16 MHz); (7)powerdown and Idle modes; (8)16-bit watchdog timer; (9)8-bit external bus; (10)full duplex serial port; (11)high speed I/O subsystem; (12)16-bit timer; (13)16-bit counter; (14)pulse-width-modulated output; (15)four 16-bit software timers; (16)10-bit A/D converter with sample/hold; (17)extended temperature available.
