Description

PCIE BUFFER
The ICS9FG1903 follows the Intel DB1900G Differential Buffer Specification. This buffer provides 19 output clocks for CPUHost Bus, PCI-Express, or Fully Buffered DIMM applications. The outputs are configured with two groups. Both groups,DIF_(17:0) and DIF_(18) can be equal to or have a gear ratio to the input clock. A differential CPU clock from a CK410 orCK410B main clock generator, such as the ICS954101 or ICS932S401, drives the ICS9FG1903. The ICS9FG1903 canprovide outputs up to 400MHz.PLL2 is the default PLL at power-up, providing a 1:1 frequency for all outputs at power up. ICS9FG1903 also provides the gear ratiofrequency when the Group of 18 is shifted to Gear Mode. PLL1 provides a 1:1 output frequency to DIF18, when the other outputsare shifted to Gear Mode.
