AAT3340ITP-1-T1

The AAT3340ITP-1-T1 is designed as a low-noise, constant-frequency charge pump DC/DC converter that uses a dual-mode load switch (1x) and fractional (1.5x) conversion to maximize efficiency for white LED applications. It is capable of driving 4 white LEDs at a total of 80mA from a single 2.7V to 5.5V input. Typical applications include cellular and smart phones, digital still and video cameras, PDAs, portable devices, portable media players and other white LED backlighting.

It has eight features. (1)Dual-mode (1x/1.5x) charge pump. (2)Drives up to 4-channel backlight LEDs. (3)32-level programmable backlight current (linear, inverting). (4)Single-wire S2Cwire control. (5)Built-in thermal protection. (6)Automatic soft start. (7)-40°C to +85°C temperature range. (8)TSOPJW-12 and TDFN33-12 packages. That are all the main features.

Some absolute maximum ratings have been concluded into several points as follow. (1)Its input voltage would be from -0.3 to 6V. (2)Its charge pump output would be from -0.3 to 6V. (3)Its EN/SET to GND voltage would be from -0.3 to 6V. (4)Its maximum EN/SET voltage would be Vin+0.3V. (5)Its maximum DC output current (sum of Iout and D currents) would be 120mA. (6)Its operating junction temperature range would be from -40 to 150°C. It should be noted that stresses above those listed in absolute maximum ratings may cause permanent damage to device.

Also some electrical characteristics are concluded as follow. (1)Its input voltage range would be min 2.7V and max 5.5V. (2)Its operating current would be typ 1.8mA and max 7.0mA for 1x mode and would be typ 4.8mA and max 7.2mA for 1.5x mode. (3)Its Vin shutdown current would be max 1uA. (4)Its charge pump mode hysteresis would be typ 0.15V. (5)Its thermal shutdown threshold would be typ 140°C. (6)Its thermal shutdown hysteresis would be typ 15°C.
