AD386

The AD386 is a high accuracy, adjustment free track-abd-hold amplifier designed for high resolution data acquistion applications. It is complete with an internal hold capacitor and it incorporates a compensation network which minimizes the track-to-hold charge offset and dielectric absorption. The AD386 also includes an internal differential amplifier for very high accuracy applications.

There are some features as follows. First is compatible to true 16-bit A/D converters. The second is fast acquisition time which is 3.6 s to 0.00076%. Then is low droop rate which is 20 V/ms. Next is differential amplifier for ground sense. The last one is low aperture jitter which is 40 ps. The typical applications include medical and analytical instrumentation, signal processing, multichannel data aquisition systems, automatic test equipment, guidance and control, sonar.

What comes next is about the absolute maximum ratings. The supply voltage is ±18 V. The internal power dissipation is 800 mW. The input voltage is ±18 V. The T/H input voltage is -0.5 V, +16 V. The TSTG (storage temperature range) is from -65 to +150. The lead temperature (soldering 10 sec) is +300. The operating temperature range is from -40 to +85 for AD386B and from -55 to +125 for AD386T.
