The AD7574JN is a kind of low-cost, 8-bit uP compatible ADC. It adopts the successive-approximations technique to provide a conversion time of 15 us.Designed to be operated as a memory mapped input device, the AD7574JN can be interfaced like RAM, ROM, or slow memory. With internal clock, +5 V operation, on-board comparator and interface logic, low power dissipation, It is suitable for most ADC/uP interface applications. The device is also widely used in avionics, instrumentation, and process automation applications for its small size (18-pin DIP) and monolithic reliability.
