The AD7750ANZ is a kind of Product-to-Frequency Converter (PFC)which can be configured for power measurement or voltage-tofrequency conversion. The part contains the equivalent of two channels of A/D conversion, a multiplier, a digital-to-frequency converter, a reference and other conditioning circuitry.

Features of the AD7750ANZ are:(1)two differential analog input channels; (2)product of two channels; (3)voltage-to-frequency conversion on a single channel; (4)real power measurement capability < 0.2% error over the range 400% ibasic to 2% ibasic; (5)two or four quadrant operation (positive and negative power); (6)gain select of 1 or 16 on the current channel (channel 1); (7)choice of on-chip or external reference; (8)choice of output pulse frequencies available(pins F1 and F2); (9)high frequency pulse output for calibration purposes(FOUT); (10)HPF on current channel for offset removal; (11)single 5 v supply and low power.

The absolute maximum ratings of the AD7750ANZ can be summarized as:(1): AVDD to AGND is 0.3 V to +7 V; (2): DVDD to DGND is 0.3 V to +7 V; (3): DVDD to AVDD is 0.3 V to +0.3 V; (4): analog input voltage to AGND V1+, V1-, V2+,and V2- is 6 V to +6 V; (5): reference input voltage to AGND is 0.3 V to VDD + 0.3 V; (6): digital input voltage to DGND is  0.3 V to VDD + 0.3 V; (7): digital output voltage to DGND is 0.3 V to VDD + 0.3 V; (8): operating temperature range industrial (A Versions)  is 40°C to +85°C;(9): storage temperature range is 65°C to +150°C; (10): junction temperature is 150°C.
