AD7891ASZ-1

The AD7891ASZ-1 is one member of the AD7891 family which is designed as the eight-channel 12-bit data acquisition system that can be used in wide range of applications such as (1)data acquisition systems; (2)motor control; (3)mobile communication base stations; (4)instrumentation. And this device provides the option of either a parallel interface or serial interface structure determined by the MODE pin.

Features of the AD7891ASZ-1 are:(1)Fast 12-Bit ADC with 1.6 us Conversion Time; (2)Eight Single-Ended Analog Input Channels; (3)Overvoltage Protection on Each Channel; (4)Selection of Input Ranges: +/-5 V, +/-10 V for AD7891-1 and 0 to +2.5 V, 0 to +5 V, +/-2.5 V for AD7891-2; (5)Parallel and Serial Interface; (6)On-Chip Track/Hold Amplifier; (7)On-Chip Reference; (8)Single Supply, Low Power Operation (85 mW max); (9)Power-Down Mode (75 uW typ).
