ADA-7555

Description

Each of the ADA-7555 8 outputs has a separate level control with a +/- 6 dB range. Two separate  4 output amplifiers are contained on a card for stereo use. A jumper plug provides a Mono mode in which all eight outputs are fed from the Left input. The Left and Right Amplifiers ADA-7555 each have a master gain control with +/-6 dB range and a  gain-setting jumper with positions from -12 dB to +28 dB to accommodate a wide range  of input levels. The amplifier has a high level of signal transparency and will provide virtually flawless  performance in any television, radio, duplication or recording studio application.

This ADA-7555 amplifier fits into either Ross 7550 series or GVG 8550 series frames (3 outputs per channel in GVG frames). The power to each card is individually fused to prevent failure  of any one card from affecting the rest of the cards in the frame. Special design precautions have been taken to ensure that the amplifier is perfectly stable under all load and rack wiring conditions. The amplifier also provides exceptionally good rejection of ground loop hum and other common-mode interference.
