ADS7822P

The ADS7822P is designed as a 12-bit sampling analog-to-digital converter with guaranteed specifications over a 2.7V to 3.6V supply range. It requires very little power even when operating at the full 75kHz rate. At lower conversion rates, the high speed of the device enables it to spend most of its time in the power down mode-the power dissipation is less than 60mW at 7.5kHz.

ADS7822P has six features. (1)75kHz sampling rate. (2)Micro power: 0.54mW at 75kHz and 0.06mW at 7.5kHz. (3)Power down 3uA max. (4)8-pin mini-DIP, SOIC, and MSOP. (5)Differential input. (6)Serial interface. Those are all the main features.

Some absolute maximum ratings of ADS7822P have been concluded into several points as follow. (1)Its Vcc would be +6V. (2)Its analog input would be from -0.3V to Vcc+0.3V. (3)Its logic input would be from -0.3V to 6V. (4)Its case temperature would be +100°C. (5)Its junction temperature would be 150°C. (6)Its storage temperature would be +125°C. (7)Its external reference voltage would be +5.5V. It should be noted that stresses above those listed in absolute maximum ratings may cause permanent damage to device.

Also some electrical characteristics of ADS7822P are concluded into several points as follow. (1)Its resolution would be typ 12bits. (2)Its full-scale input span would be min 0V and max Vref. (3)Its absolute input range would be min -0.2V and max Vcc+0.2V for +IN and would be min -0.2V and max +1.0V for -IN. (4)Its capacitance would be typ 25pF. (5)Its leakage current would be typ +/-1uA. (6)Its logic input high voltage would be min 2.0V and max 5.5V. (7)Its input low voltage would be min -0.3V and max 0.8V. (8)Its output voltage high would be min 2.1V. (9)Its output voltage low would be max 0.4V. (10)Its Vcc would be min 2.7V and max 3.6V for specified performance. (11)Its quiescent current would be typ 200uA and max 325uA. And so on.
