ADS7862Y

The ADS7862Y is designed as a dual 12-bit, 500kHz analog-todigital converter with 4 fully differential input channels grouped into two pairs for high speed simultaneous signal acquisition. Inputs to the sample-and-hold amplifiers are fully differential and are maintained differential to the input of the A/D converter.

It has seven features. (1)4 input channels. (2)Fully differential inputs. (3)2us total throughput per channel. (4)guaranteed no missing codes. (5)Parallel interface. (6)1MHz effective sampling rate. (7)Low power 40mW. Those are all the main features.

Some absolute maximum ratings have been concluded as follow. (1)Its analog inputs to AGND would be from -0.3V to Vd+0.3V. (2)Its digital inputs to DGND would be from -0.3V to Vd+0.3V. (3)Its ground voltage differences would be +/-0.3V for AGND and DGND and would be from -0.3V to +6V for +Vd to AGND. (4)Its power dissipation would be 325mW. (5)Its maximum junction temperature would be +150°C. (6)Its operating temperature range would be from -40°C to +85°C. (7)Its storage temperature range would be from -65°C to +150°C. (8)Its lead temperature (soldering 10s) would be 300°C. It should be noted that stresses above those listed in absolute maximum ratings may cause permanent damage to device.

Also some electrical characteristics are concluded as follow. (1)Its input voltage range-bipolar would be min -Vref and max +Vref. (2)Its resolution would be max 12bits. (3)Its absolute input range would be min -0.3V and max Vcc+0.3V. (4)Its input capacitance would be typ 15pF. (5)Its input leakage current would be typ +/-1uA. (6)Its no missing codes would be min 12bits. (7)Its integral linerity would be typ +/-0.75LSB and max +/-2LSB. (8)Its integral linerity match would be typ 0.5LSB and max 1LSB.
