The ADS7862Y is designed as a dual 12-bit, 500kHz analog-todigital converter with 4 fully differential input channels grouped into two pairs for high speed simultaneous signal acquisition. Inputs to the sample-and-hold amplifiers are fully differential and are maintained differential to the input of the A/D converter.
It has seven features. (1)4 input channels. (2)Fully differential inputs. (3)2us total throughput per channel. (4)guaranteed no missing codes. (5)Parallel interface. (6)1MHz effective sampling rate. (7)Low power 40mW. Those are all the main features.
Some absolute maximum ratings have been concluded as follow. (1)Its analog inputs to AGND would be from -0.3V to Vd+0.3V. (2)Its digital inputs to DGND would be from -0.3V to Vd+0.3V. (3)Its ground voltage differences would be +/-0.3V for AGND and DGND and would be from -0.3V to +6V for +Vd to AGND. (4)Its power dissipation would be 325mW. (5)Its maximum junction temperature would be +150°C. (6)Its operating temperature range would be from -40°C to +85°C. (7)Its storage temperature range would be from -65°C to +150°C. (8)Its lead temperature (soldering 10s) would be 300°C. It should be noted that stresses above those listed in absolute maximum ratings may cause permanent damage to device.
