The ADV7391BCPZ is one member of the ADV7391 series.Optimized for low power operation, occupying a minimal footprint and requiring few external components, these encoders are ideally suited to portable and power sensitive applications requiring TV-Out functionality. Cable detection and DAC auto power-down features ensure that power consumption is kept to a minimum.The subaddress register is an 8-bit write-only register. After the MPU port is accessed and a read/write operation is selected, the subaddress is set up. The subaddress register determines which register performs the next operation. 

Features of the ADV7391BCPZ are:(1)fully programmable YCrCb to RGB matrix ;(2)gamma correction ;(3)programmable adaptive filter control ;(4)programmable sharpness filter control ;(5)CGMS (720p/1080i) and CGMS type B (720p/1080i) ;(6)dual data rate (DDR) input support ;(7)EIA/CEA-861B compliance support ;(8)individual Y and PrPb output delay ;(9)gamma correction ;(10)programmable adaptive filter control ;(11)fully programmable YCrCb to RGB matrix ;(12)undershoot limiter.The subaddress register determines the register accessed by the next read or write operation. All communication through the MPU port starts with an access to the subaddress register. A read/write operation is then performed from/to the target address, incrementing to the next address until the transaction is complete.

The absolute maximum ratings of the ADV7391BCPZ can be summarized as:(1)digital input voltage to GND_IO:-0.3 to Vdd_io +0.3V;(2)analog outputs to AGND:-0.3 to Vaa;(3)lead temperature:260;(4)storage temperature:-60 to 100;(5)junction temperature:150.Stresses above those listed under Absolute Maximum Ratings may cause permanent damage to the device.This is a stress rating only; functional operation of the device at these or any other conditions above those indicated in the operational section of this specification is not implied. Exposure to absolute maximum rating conditions for extended periods may affect device reliability.There is a subaddress auto-increment facility. This allows data to be written to or read from registers in ascending subaddress sequence starting at any valid subaddress. The user can also access any unique subaddress register on a one-by-one basis.
