The AM186CH-50KC is one member of the AM186 family which is designed as the high performance, 80C186- and 80C188-compatible, 16-bit embedded microcontroller. AM186CH-50KCintegrates a complete DRAM controller to take advantage of low DRAM costs and have been designed to meet the most common requirements of embedded products developed for the communications, office automation, mass storage, and general embedded markets. Also the specific applications include PBXs, multiplexers, modems, disk drives, hand-held and desktop terminals, fax machines, printers, photocopiers, and industrial controls.
