AMS4160 General Description
AMS4160 The AMS4160 is a PWM controller designed for use in step down DC/DC power supply. A simple, fixed frequency, highly efficient buck regulator can be implemented using the AMS4160 with minimal external components. The input voltage range is from +3.3V to +20V. The small footprints of SO-8 package allows for compact circuit design. A 0.6V reference allows output voltage settings to less than 1V. AMS4160 operates at a fixed frequency of 200 kHz optimized for high efficiency and low cost. AMS4160 has a thermal protection circuit and current limit.
