The single-ended forward converter topology AN-30 is often the best solution for AC-DC applications that require higher powers and higher output currents than are practical from flyback converters. The forward converter AN-30 extends the power capability of TOPSwitch-GX to greater than 200 W for high current outputs. The feature set of TOPSwitch-GXoffers the following advantages
