AN5900

The AN5900 is an integrated circuit in which a PWM switching regulator control cirucit and protect circuit are integrated on a single chip.

Features of the AN5900 are:(1)soft start circuit; (2)0 to 0.7 duty ; (3)protection circuit for over voltage and current; (4)external trigger available; (5)high supply voltage protection; (6)reference voltage provided by external zener diode; (7)compact 9-leaf plastic SIL package for higher flexibility in PCB design.

The absolute maximum ratings of the AN5900 can be summarized as:(1): supply voltage(Vcc) is 14.0 V; (2): circuit voltage(V6-5) is 0 V to +14.4 V; (3): supply current(I6) is 18.0 mA; (4): power dissipaion(PD) is 260 mW; (5): circuit current(I4) is -1 mA to +50 mA; (6): local power dissipation(PDQ1) is 60 mW; (7): operating temprature range(Topr) is -20 to +75; (8): storage temerature range(Tstg) is -55 to +150.
