General Description
AP-30712 General Description
The AP-30711 and the AP-30712 are both high resolution, dual input, synchro/ resolver angle position indicators. These units convert analog synchro or resolver position information into a digital word. The digital word is used to display angular information on the front panel of the unit. Each unit's standard display angular range is decimal degrees from 0.000° to 359.999°. Bipolar ±179.995° is available as a low-cost option. Both units are available in two frequency ranges of 360 to 1200 Hz or 47 to 440 Hz. The digital word is also available for use from the rear panel of both units through a parallel BCD interface.
The AP-30711's small size and remote programming feature makes it ideal for automatic test, panel mount applications. The bench top AP- 30712 has input terminals and controls on the front panel, and is available with an optional IEEE-488 or MATE/CIIL interface in the rear.

AP-30712 Typical Application
The AP-30711 and the AP-30712 can be used wherever high accuracy synchro or resolver angle information is required for display, control, testing purposes or computation. Application include development or production testing of synchro/resolver based systems, information translators in quality control systems, machine tool controls, motion feedback, and automatic test equipment.
