AS1044S

AS1044S is a kind of DC-to-DC voltage converter.The typical applications include conversion of 5 V to ±5 V supplies,precise voltage division:V_OUT=±V_IN/2±20 ppm,voltage multiplication:V_OUT=±nV_IN,supply splitter:V_OUT=±V_S/2,automotive applications and battery systems with 9 V wall adapters/chargers.

There are some features as follows.First is oscillator boost from 10 kHz to 45 kHz.Secondly,it converts +5 V logic supply to ±5 V system.Then is wide input voltage range which is from 1.5 V to 2 V.Next is efficient voltage conversion which is 99.9%.The fifth is excellent power efficiency which is 98%.The sixth is low power supply which is 80A @ 5 V_IN.The seventh is low cost and easy to use.The seventh is available in small outline (SO) package.The eighth is similar to industry standard LTC1044/7660S.The ninth is improved ESD protection up to 10 kV.The last one is no external diode required for high voltage operation.

What comes next is about the absolute maximum ratings.The supply voltage is +13 V.The LV,Boost,OSC input voltage is from -0.3 V to (V⁺+0.3 V) for V⁺<5.5 V and from (V⁺-5.5 V) to (V⁺+0.3 V) for V⁺>5.5 V.The current into LV is 20A for V⁺>3.5 V.The output short duration (V_SUPPLY5.5 V) is continuous.The power dissipation for CER DIP is 500 mW and 375 mW for plastic DIP.The operating temperature range is from 0 to +70 for C Suffix,from -25 to +85 for I Suffix,from -40 to +85 for E Suffix and from -55 to +125 for M Suffix.The storage temperature is from -65 to +150.The lead temperature (soldering,10 sec) is +300.
