AT24C256N

The AT24C256N is a kind of 2-wire serial EEPROM. It provides 262,144 bits of serial electrically erasable programmable read only memory (EEPROM) organized as 32,768 words of 8 bits each. It is suitable for many industrial and commercial applications where low power and low voltage operation are essential. It is available in 8-Pin JEDEC SOIC package.

There are some features as follows: (1)low voltage and standard voltage operation: 2.7 (VCC = 2.7 to 5.5 V); (2)internally organized 32,768 x 8; (3)2-wire serial interface; (4)schmitt trigger, filtered inputs for noise suppression; (5)bidirectional data transfer protocol; (6)1 MHz (5V), 400 kHz (2.7V) and 100 kHz (1.8V) compatibility; (7)write protect pin for hardware and software data protection; (8)64-byte page write mode (partial page writes allowed); (9)self-timed write cycle (5 ms typical); (10)high reliability: endurance: 100,000 write cycles, data retention: 40 years and ESD protection: > 4000 V; (11)automotive grade and extended temperature devices.
