Description

The AT24C512SC provides 524,288 bits of serial electrically erasable andprogrammable read only memory (EEPROM) organized as 65,536 words of 8 bitseach. This device is optimized for use in smart card applications where low-power andlow-voltage operation may be essential. AT24C512SC is available in a standard ISO7816 smart card module (see Ordering Information). The entire family is available inboth high-voltage (4.5V to 5.5V) and low-voltage (2.7V to 5.5V) versions. All devicesare functionally equivalent to Atmel Serial EEPROM products offered in standard ICpackages (PDIP, SOIC, EIAJ, LAP), with the exception of the slave address and writeprotect functions which are not required for smart card applications
