DescriptionThe AT90PWM2-16SQ is designed as one kind of low-power CMOS 8-bit microcontroller that is supported with a full suite of program and system development tools including: C compilers, macro assemblers, program debugger/simulators, incircuit emulators, and evaluation kits. This device achieves throughputs approaching 1 MIPS per MHz by executing powerful instructions in a single clock cycle.
Features of the AT90PWM2-16SQ are:(1)high performance, low power AVR 8-bit microcontroller; (2)advanced risc architecture: powerful instructions - most single clock cycle execution, 32 x 8 general purpose working registers, fully static operation, up to 1 MIPS throughput per mhz and on-chip 2-cycle multiplier; (3)extended operating temperature: -40°C to +105° (full analog from -40 to 90°C); (4)operating voltage: 2.7V - 5.5V; (5)programmable watchdog timer with separate on-chip oscillator; (6)two or three analog comparator with resistor-array to adjust comparison voltage; (7)master/slave SPI serial interface; (8)one 16-bit general purpose timer/counter with separate prescaler, compare mode and capture mode.
