BSP742R

The BSP742R is a N channel vertical power FET with charge pump, ground referenced CMOS compatible input and diagnostic feedback, monolithically integrated in Smart SIPMOS technology.Providing embedded protective functions.The reverse load current of BSP742R through the intrinsic drain-source diode has to be limited by the connected load.Power dissipation is higher compared to normal operating conditions due to the voltage drop across the drain-source diode. The temperature protection of BSP742R is not active during reverse current operation. 

Features of the BSP742R are:(1)overload protectioncurrent limitation; (2)short circuit protection; (3)thermal shutdown with restart; (4)overvoltage protection (including load dump); (5)fast demagnetization of inductive loadsreverse battery protection with external resistor; (6)open drain diagnostic output; (7)open load detection in OFF - state; (8)CMOS compatible input; (9)loss of GND and loss of Vbb protection; (10)ESD - protection; (11)very low standby current.
