DescriptionThe BUX48A is one kind of switchmode series NPN power transistors which designed for use in high-voltage, high-speed, power switching regulators, converters, inverters, motor control system application. Features of the BUX48A are:(1)collector-emitter sustaining voltage:450 V (min);(2)collector-emitter saturation voltage:1.5 V (max.);(3)switching time:0.8 us.
The absolute maximum ratings of the BUX48A can be summarized as:(1)collector-emitter voltage:450 V;(2)collector-emitter voltage (VBE=-2.5 V):1000 V;(3)emitter-base voltage:7 V;(4)collector current (continuous):15 A;(5)base current:4 A;(6)total power dissipation @ Tc=25:175 W;(7)total power dissipation derate above 25:1.0 W/;(8)operating and storage junction temperature range:-65 to +200;(9)thermal resistance junction to case:1.0/W.
