CD4529B

The CD4529B is a dual 4-channel or a single 8-channel analog data selector,implemented with complementary MOS(CMOS) circuits constructed with N-and P-channel enhancement mode transistors. Dual 4-channel or 8-channel mode operation is selected by proper input coding,with outputs Z and W tied together for the single8-bit mode. The device is suitable for digital as well as analog applications. Since the device is analog and bidirectional. CD4529B can also be used for the dual binary to 1-of-4 or single 1-of-8 decoder applications.

CD4529B has many uqniue features: the first one is wide supply voltage range which is 3.0 V to 5.0 V. The second one is high noise immunity which is 0.45 VDD(typ). The third one is low quiescent power dissipation which is 0.005 uW/package. The forth one is 10 MHz frequency operation(typ). The fifth one is data paths are bidirectional. The sixth one is linear ON resistance(120 ohm typ)at 15 V.The seventh one is plug-in replacement for MC14529B.There are some absolute maximum ratings about it.DC supply voltage(VDD) is -0.5 V to +18 V. Input voltage(Vin) is -0.5 V to VDD+0.5 V. Storage temperature range(Ts) is -65 to +150.Power dissipation(PD) is 700 MW (duak-in-line) or is 500 MW(small outline). Lead temperature(TL)(soldering, 10 seocnds) is 260. Recommended operating conditions: DC supply voltage(VDD) is 3 V to 15 V. Input voltage(Vin) is 0 V to VDD.
