CPC1918

The CPC1918 is one of ISOPLUS™-264 Power Relay.
Clare and IXYS have brought OptoMOS? technology, reliability and compact size to a new family of high power solid state relays.The CPC1916Y is a part of that familya and is normally open (1-Form-A) Solid State Power Relay is rated for up to 13Arms continuous load current with a 5ºC/W heat sink. The CPC1918 uses optically coupled MOSFET technology to provide 2500Vrms of input to output isolation. While the input is controlled by a highly efficient GaAlAs infrared LED, the efficient MOSFET switches and photovoltaic die use Clare's patented OptoMOS
architecture. CPC1918 low on resistance and high load current handling capabilities are combined ,and this makes the relay suitable for a variety of high performance switching applications
There are nine Features of the CPC1916Y.The first of all is that it has 100% Solid State.The second is that it has Compact ISOPLUS-264 Power Package. The third is that it has Low Thermal Resistance (0.30°C/W).The forth is that it has 13Arms Load Current with 5°C/W Heat Sink.The fifth is that it has Low Drive Power Requirements.The sixth is that it has Electrically Non-conductive Thermal Pad for Heat Sink Applications.The seventh is that it has Arc-Free With No Snubbing Circuits.The eighth is that it has 2500Vrms Input/Output Isolation.The ninth is that it has No EMI/RFI Generation.The tenth is that it has Machine Insertable, Wave Solderable.
