Description

The CS5340-CZZ belongs to the CS5340 series. It is a complete analog-to-digital converter for digital audio systems. It is available in 16-pin TSSOP package which is lead free. It performs sampling,analog-todigital conversion,and anti-alias filtering, generating 24-bit values for both left and right inputs in serial form at sample rates up to 200 kHz per channel. It can support output sample rates from 2 kHz to 200 kHz.

There are some features of CS5340-CZZ as follows. (1) advanced multi-bit delta-sigma architecture; (2) 24-bit conversion; (3) supports all audio sample rates including 192 kHz.; (4)105 dB dynamic range at 5 V; (5)-94 dB THD+N; (6) high-pass filter to remove DC offsets; (7) analog/digital core supplies from 3.3 v to 5 v; (8) supports logic levels between 1.8 v and 5 v; (9) low-latency digital filter; (10) auto-mode selection; (11) pin compatible with the CS5341.

The following is about absolute maximum ratings of CS5340-CZZ. (1): DC power supply is from -0.3 V to 6.0 V; (2): maximum input current is ±10 mA; (3): analog input voltage is from GND-0.7 V to VA+0.7 V; (4): digital input voltage is from -0.7 V to VL+0.7 V; (5): ambient operating temperature (power applied) ranges from -50 to 95 ; (6): storage temperature is from -65 to 150 . Then is about DC electrical characteristics. (1): DC power supply (positive logic) is from 1.7 V to 5.25 V; (2): the typical power supply current is 21 mA and the maximum is 23.1 mA when VA is 5 V; (3): the typical power consumption is 180 mW and the maximum is 198 mW at the condition of VL is 5 V and VA is 5 V; (4): the typical power supply rejection ratio (1 KHz) is 65 dB; (5): the typical output impedance is 18 K.
