The Conexant CX06837 Fax/Data Modem offers Group 3 facsimile send and receive speeds up to 14400 bps with optional V.34 half-duplex mode operation up to 33600 bps. The modem optionally supports duplex data mode - V.90 PCM data mode, and V.92 PCM data mode. In V.92 PCM data mode, the Quick Connect feature is supported where the V.92-compatible server is available. The CX06837 modem also features the voice codecs that enable Digital Telephone Answering Machine (DTAM), and optionally supports full-duplex speakerphone. This combination of fax/data communication with telephony features is an ideal solution for highly integrated communication terminals.
