CXA1219P

The CXA1219P is designed as one kind of encoder ICs used to convert Y, R-Y, B-Y signals into compostive video or RGB signals. The composite sync can be separated from the incoming luminous of the signal, as well as the external sync. With a ratio of R-Y: B-Y=1.4:1 CXA1219P/M is ideally suited for still video floppy usage.

It has seven features. (1)Single power supply 5V. (2)Low power comsumption 130mW. (3)Compatible with both NTSV and PAL mode. (4)Built-in 75 driver (RGB output, composite video output, composite sync output). (5)Built-in crystal oscillator for subcarrier. (6)External subcarrier input possible. (7)Audio buffer. Those are all the main features.

Some absolute maximum ratings have been concluded into several points as follow. (1)Its supply voltage would be 10V. (2)Its operating temperature range would be from -20°C to 75°C. (3)Its storage temperature range would be from -55°C to 150°C. (4)Its allowable power dissipation would be 1250mW. (5)Its recommended supply voltage would be 5V +/-0.25V. It should be noted that stresses above those listed in absolute maximum ratings may cause permanent damage to device.

Also some electrical characteristics are concluded as follow. (1)Its suply current 1 would be min 12.5mA and typ 18mA and max 23.5mA. (2)Its supply current 2 would be min 5.0mA and typ 7.6mA and max 10mA. (3)Its RGB output voltage would be min 0.65Vp-p and typ 0.71Vp-p and max 0.78Vp-p. (4)Its RGB output frequency characteristics would be min 5MHz. (5)Its Y out voltage gain would be min -0.5dB and typ 0dB and max 0.5dB. (6)Its Y out frequency characteristics would be min 5MHz. (7)Its burst level would be min 257mVp-p and typ 286mVp-p and max 314mVp-p. (8)Its R chroma ratio would be min 2.62 and typ 2.92 and max 3.21. And so on.
