D78C10AGQ

The D78C10AGQ is designed as a CMOS 8-bit microprocessor which can integrate 16-bit ALU, ROM, RAM, an A/D converter, a multi-function timer/event counter, and a general-purpose serial interface into a single chip, then expand the memory (ROM/RAM) up to 60K bytes externally.

It has twelve features. (1)Abundant 159 types of instructions : 87AD series instruction set, multiplication/division instructions, 16-bit operation instructions. (2)Instruction cycle : 0.8ms (at 15MHz operation). (3)On-chip ROM : 4096Wx8 (uPD78C11A), 8192Wx8 (uPD78C12A) non (uPD78C10A). (4)On-chip RAM: 256Wx8. (5)High-precision 8-bit A/D converter: 8 analog inputs. (6)General-purpose serial interface: asynchronous, synchronous, I/O interface mode. (7)Multi-function 16-bit timer/event counter. (8)Two 8-bit timers. (9)I/O lines: 32 (uPD78C10A), 44 (uPD78C11A, 78C12A). (10)Interrupt function (external-3, internal-8): non-maskable interruptx1, maskable interruptx10. (11)Standby function: HALT mode, hardware/software STOP mode. (12)Zero-cross detection function: (2 inputs). Those are all the main features.

Some absolute maximum ratings have been concluded into several points as follow. (1)Its power supply voltage would be from -0.5V to 7.0V for Vdd and would be AVss to Vdd+0.5V for AVdd and would be -0.5V to 0.5V for AVss. (2)Its input voltage would be from -0.5V to Vdd+0.5V. (3)Its output voltage would be from -0.5V to Vdd+0.5V. (4)Its output current low would be 4.0mA for all output pins and would be 100mA for total of all output pins. (5)Its output current high would be -2.0mA for all output pins and would be -50mA for total of all output pins. (6)Its A/D converter reference input voltage would be from -0.5V to AVdd+0.3V. (7)Its operating ambient temperature range would be from -40°C to +85°C. (8)Its storage temperature range would be from -65°C to 150°C. And so on.
