Description

The E910.98 IC is intended to monitor the conductance status of up to 4 hall sensors or switches. In input mode all input pins are powered simultaniously. With threshold currents of typ. 6mA and 11mA the switch status will be displayed at the outputs.

The E910.98 sleep mode is started with CS=0 and provides a stand alone function wake on change. All input pins are powered simultaniously for one osciallator period (typ. 25kHz or 40s) and will then be high impedance for a programmable time of 31 to 1023 * Tosc. This sequence will be repeated as long as the sleep mode is active and no changes happen on the inputs.

Additionally a watchdog function is provided using the SEL2 pin. With active sleep mode for longer than a programmable time of 1/32 to 1/1024 * fosc the pin will become low.
