EP5368Q General Description
The Enpirion EP5368Q represents a revolution in the area of low-power switching regulators. The total solution footprint is 22mm2, without compromising efficiency. Requiring two external components, the EP5368Q makes switching regulator design a breeze.
A complete power supply on a chip (PwrSoC), the EP5368Q integrates power switches, inductor, gate drive, controller, and compensation in a tiny 3mm x 3mm package. The 1mm profile and small footprint, enables the use of this part where space is at a premium.
The EP5368Q utilizes a 3-pin VID output voltage selector that allows the designer to choose one of seven pre-defined output voltage levels, or an external voltage divider can be employed to set the output voltage.
This product is an excellent choice for low-power mobile applications such as wireless data cards, smart-phone or personal media players.
