The Enpirion EP53A8Q represents a revolution in the area of low-power switching regulators. The total solution footprint is as small as 24mm², without compromising efficiency. Requiring only two tiny MLCC capacitors, the EP53A8Q makes switching regulator design a breeze.

A complete power system-on-chip (PwrSoC), the EP53A8Q integrates power switches, inductor, gate drive, controller, and compensation in a tiny 3mm x 3mm package. The 1.1 mm profile and small footprint, enables the use of this part where space is at a premium.

The EP53A8Q utilizes a 3-pin VID output voltage selector that allows the designer to choose one of seven pre-defined output voltage levels, or an external voltage divider can be employed to set the output voltage.
