Description

The FAN7390 is a monolithic high- and low-side gate-driveIC, which can drive high speed MOSFETs andIGBTs that operate up to +600V. It has a buffered outputstage with all NMOS transistors designed for high pulsecurrent driving capability and minimum cross-conduction.

Fairchild?s high-voltage process and common-modenoise canceling techniques provide stable operation ofthe high-side driver under high dv/dt noise circumstances.An advanced level shift circuit offers high-side gate driveroperation up to VS=-9.8V (typical) for VBS=15V.

The FAN7390 UVLO circuit prevents malfunction when VDD andVBS are lower than the specified threshold voltage.

The FAN7390 high current and low output voltage drop featuremake this device suitable for the PDP sustain pulsedriver, motor driver, switching power supply, and high-powerDC-DC converter applications.
