Description

The XS™ DrMOS family is Fairchild?s next-generation fullyoptimizedultra-compact integrated MOSFET plus driver powerstage solution for high current, high frequency synchronousbuck DC-DC applications. The FDMF6704A DrMOS integratesa driver IC, two power MOSFETs and a bootstrap Schottkydiode into a thermally enhanced compact 6 mm x 6 mm MLPpackage. With an integrated approach, the complete switchingpower stage is optimized with regards to driver and MOSFETdynamic performance, system inductance and R_DS(ON). Thisgreatly reduces the package parasitics and layout challengesassociated with conventional discrete solutions. The FDMF6704A driver ICincorporates advanced features such as SMOD. A 5 V gatedrive and an improved PCB interface [Low Side MOSFETexposed pad] ensure higher performance. This product meetsthe Intel 6 mm x 6 mm DrMOS pinout.
