The FOD817A is designed as one kind of 4-pin phototransistor optocoupler device that consists of a gallium arsenide infrared emitting diode driving a silicon phototransistor in a 4-pin dual in-line package. And FOD817A can be used in (1)Power supply regulators; (2)Digital logic inputs; (3)Microprocessor inputs applications. Features of the FOD817A are:(1)Applicable to Pb-free IR reflow soldering;(2)Compact 4-pin package;(3)Current transfer ratio in selected groups: 80-160%;(4)C-UL, UL and VDE approved;(5)High input-output isolation voltage of 5000 Vrms.
