Description

The G9218 positive 1.8V voltage regulator features the ability to source 2A of output current. The dropout voltage is 0.7V at 2A output current. The G9218 quiescent current is 1.8mA. Furthermore, the quiescent current is smaller when the regulator is in the dropout mode.

Familiar regulator features of G9218 such as over temperature and over current protection circuits are provided to prevent it from being damaged by abnormal operating conditions. A Ven pin is provided to disable the output when needed.
