HEF4894BP_1183375 General Description


The HEF4894B is a 12 stage serial hift register having a storage latch  ssociated with each stage for trobing data from the serial input to arallel LED driver outputs O0 to O11. Data is shifted on positive-going lock transitions. The data in each hift register stage is transferred to he storage register when the strobe STR) input is HIGH. Data in the torage register appears at the utputs whenever the output enable EO) signal is HIGH.

Two serial outputs (Os and Os') are vailable for cascading a number of EF4894B devices. Data is available t Os on positive-going clock edges to llow high-speed operation in ascaded sstems in which the clock ise time is fast. The same serial nformation is available at Os' on the ext negative-going clock edge and rovides cascading HEF4894B evices when the clock rise time is low.
