The HG61H04 is designed as one member of the HG61H series which are master slice CMOS gate arrays using 2-layer metal interconnect technology. This series have six master chips with wide range of gate count of 448 to 2560, and of IO terminal count of 54 to 108. These chips can replace not only CMOS logics but also TTL logics by their high speed of 2.0ns typ and compatibility of input and output buffers at TTL/CMOS level.
It has nine features. (1)It has fast operating which means 2ns typ for internal gate and 7.7ns for input buffer and 9.5ns typ for output buffer. (2)It has low power dissipation 175uW/gate typ at 10MHz operation (internal gate). (3)Abundant input and output configuration. (4)Oscillator, schmitt input available. (5)Memory on-chip. (6)Wide operation temperature ange would be from -20°C to +75°C. (7)Its wide package selection. (8)Powerful design support. (9)Quick turn around time and reasonable development cost. That are all the main features.
Some absolute maximum ratings have been concluded into several points as follow. (1)Its supply voltage would be from -0.3V to +6.7V. (2)Its terminal voltage would be from -0.3V to Vcc+0.3V. (3)Its output current per one output would be -8mA to +8mA. (4)Its output current total would be -40mA to +40mA. (5)Its operating temperature range would be from -20°C to +75°C. (6)Its storage temperature range would be from -20°C to +85°C with bias and would be from -55°C to +125°C without bias.It should be noted that stresses above those listed in absolute maximum ratings may cause permanent damage to device.
Also some electrical characteristics are concluded as follow. (1) Its input voltage TTL level would be min 2.2V and max Vcc+0.3V for high and would be min -0.3V and max 0.8V for low. (2)Its input voltage CMOS level would be min 3.5V and max Vcc+0.3V for high and would be min -0.3V and max 1.5V for low.
