General Description
HLY-3051 General Description
The PWR terminal should be connected to a 12 volt accessory feed. The case provides the gauge ground. Connect a ground wire to the screw at the bottom rear of the case. When the DIM terminal has 12 volts, it will dim the display for night viewing. The SND terminal is the voltage sensing input. To read the vehicle system voltage, connect this to the PWR terminal.
To read the voltage at a second battery or other remote location, connect a wire from the SND terminal to the voltage to be monitored.
The voltage gauge will operate in the voltage range of 8.0 17.0 and read correct between the voltage range of 1.0 - 18.0 volts. It has a user adjustable lower and upper warning level. This can be set to indicate low voltage and overcharging conditions.
