General Description
HM65 General Description
The HM65 is designed as high current low profile surface mount inductors.It would be RoHS compliant.
Some absolute maximum ratings have been concluded into several points as follow.The first one is about its operating temperature range which would have the minimum of -40°C and would have the maximum of +130°C.The second one is about its ambient temperature which would be have the maximum of 80°C.The third one is about its insulation system which would be class F, 155°C.That are all the ratings.
Also there some electrical specifications have been concluded into several points as follow. Before it, something should be noted that the HM65 is a series which would included from the type of HM65-H1R0LF to HM65-M2R5LF.For example of HM65-H1R0LF, its inductance nominal which would be 1.0 +/- 20% uH. Its rated DC current which would be 20.0A for 25°C and would be 13.5A for 130°C. Its heating current would be 19.9A. Its DC resitance would be typ 1.7m and max 2.5m. Its case size would be standard. Its height would be max 5.6mm.Its 13'' reel would be 400 units. And also for example of HM65-M2R5LF, its inductance nominal which would be 2.5 +/- 20% uH. Its rated DC current which would be 12.0A for 25°C and would be 10.0A for 130°C. Its heating current would be 9.3A. Its DC resitance would be typ 5.5m and max 6.0m. Its case size would be mini. Some should be noted that inductance is measured at 100kHz, 0.1V without DC current.Rated DC current is the approximate current at which inductance will be decreased by 25% from its initial (zero DC) value. Heating current is the DC current which causes the inductor temperature to increase by approximately 40°C. DC resistance is measured at 25°C.
