Active pixel array is 1164x886. Each active pixel composed of 4 transistors, it has a micro-lens to enhance sensitivity, and converts photon energy to analog pixel voltage. On-chip 11bit Analog to Digital Converter (ADC) digitizes analog pixel voltage, and on-chip Correlated Double Sampling (CDS) scheme reduces Fixed Pattern Noise (FPN) dramatically. General image processing functions are implemented to diversify its applications, and various output formats are supported for the sensor to easily interface with different video codec chips. The integration of sensor function and image processing functions make HV7151SP especially very suitable for mobile imaging systems such as digital still camera, PC input camera and IMT-2000 phone's video part that requires very low power and system compactness.
