IAD 100HP

The RDC IAD (Internet Access Device) 100 series is a family of low-power 32bit microprocessor cores built for use as x86-compatible applications in internet access. The IAD 100HP includes R3300 which incorporates CPU, DDR2 controller, NB, PCI, Fast Ethernet, SPI, and south bridge C6036.

The SB C6036 incorporates High Definition Audio (HDA), IDE, Low Pin Count (LPC) controllers and other peripherals. To deliver the best performance, the RDC SB C6036 must be complemented of RDC CPU with NB. Thanks to RDC power-optimized processor architecture, the RDC IAD100 series offer the advantages to affordable consumer electronics appliances, resulting in cost efficiency and long battery life. The saving system power time will allow more operations. The operating system compatibilities include WinCE, Linux, Windows XP, Windows Embedded XP, VxWorks OS. This new two-chip platform is idea for fanless computing system, helping drive the rapidly emerging categories of green and slimmer applications with x86-compatability
