IS445

The IS445 is designed as one kind of linear output type OPIC light detectors. Typical applications is copiers.

The IS445 has three features. (1)Linear output. (2)Two packages according to mounting method, side view type. (3)Capable of output voltage level adjustment due to external resistor. Those are all the main features.

Some absolute maximum ratings of IS445 have been concluded into several points as follow. (1)Its supply voltage would be from -0.5V to 8V. (2)Its output voltage would be from -0.5V to Vcc. (3)Its output current would be -10mA. (4)Its power dissipation would be 250mW. (5)Its operating temperature range would be from -25°C to 85°C. (6)Its storage temperature range would be from -40°C to 100°C. (7)Its soldering temperature would be 260°C. It should be noted that stresses above those listed in absolute maximum ratings may cause permanent damage to device.

Also some electrical characteristics of IS445 are concluded as follow. (1)Its supply current would be min 0.2mA and typ 0.55mA and max 1.0mA. (2)Its output current 1 would be min -6.5uA and typ -10uA and max -13.5uA. (3)Its output current 2 would be min -0.65mA and typ -1mA and max -1.35mA. (4)Its output current ratio would be min 92 and typ 100 and max 108. (5)Its dark output current would be typ -10nA and max -500nA. (6)Its peak sensitivity wavelength would be typ 700nm. (7)Its recommended supply voltage would be min 4.5V and max 5.5V. (8)Its recommended illuminamce would be min 10 and max 5000 by standard light source A (tungsten lamp). (9)Its recommended output voltage would be min 0V and max Vcc-1.5V. (10)Its recommended operating temperature range would be from -10°C to 70°C. And so on.
