The Fairchild Power Switch(FPS) product family is specially esigned for an off line SMPS with minimal external omponents. The Fairchild Power Switch(FPS) consist of igh voltage power SenseFET and current mode PWM ontroller IC. control IC features a trimmed oscillator, under oltage lock-out, leading edge blanking, optimized gate urn-on/turn-off driver, thermal shut down protection, over oltage protection, temperature compensated precision urrent sources for loop compensation and fault protection ircuit. compared to discrete MOSFET and controller or CC switching converter solution, a Fairchild Power witch(FPS) can reduce total component count, design size, eight and at the same time increase efficiency, roductivity, and system reliability. It has a basic platform ell suited for cost-effective C-TV power supply.
