KIA7805AF-RTF has six unique features: (1) it is suitable for C-MOS, TTL, the other digital IC's power supply; (2) internal thermal overload protection; (3) (4) internal short circuit current limiting; (5) output current in excess of 1A; (6) it satisfies IEC-65 specification. (International Electronical Commission); (7) package is DPAK.
 
There are some maximum ratings about it. (1): power dissipation(PD) is 12 W when Tc is 25; (2): operating junction temperature(Tj) is -30 to 150; (3): storage temperature(Tstg) is -55 to 150,etc.

Otherwise,there are also some electrical characteristics about it(VIN=10V, IOUT=500mA, 0 Tj 125). (1): output voltage(Vout) is 4.8 V min, 5.0 V typ and 5.2 V max(Tj=25 , IOUT=100mA); (2): input regulation(reg line) is 3 mV typ and 100 mV max(7.0V VIN 25V,Tj=25); (3): quiescent current(IB) is 4.2 mA typ and 8.0 mA max(Tj=25 , IOUT=5mA); (4): ripple rejection ratio(RR) is 67 dB min and 78 dB typ(f=120Hz, 8.0V VIN 18V,IOUT=50mA, Tj=25); (5): dropout voltage(VD) is 2.0 V typ (IOUT=1.0A, Tj=25),etc.
