KP Series

      KP series has three unique features which is as follows : The first one is non-polarized with wide temeprature range up to +150. The second one is load life of 1000 hours. The third one is complying  with RoHS directive(2002/95/EC).
     There are some specifications about it. Operation temperature range is -55 to +105. Rated working voltage is 6.3 V to 50 V . Capacitance tolerance is ±20% at 120 HZ and 20. Leakage current is or below 0.05 CV or 10 A whichever is greater(after 2 minutes)( C: normal capacitance(F) V: rated voltage(V)). Load life (after 1000 hours application of the rated voltage at 105 with the polarity inverted every 250 hours , capacitors meet the characteristics requirments listed.) : capacitance change is within ±20% of initial value; Dissipation factor is 200% or less of initial specified value ; Leakage current is initial specified value or less. After leaving capacitors under no load at 105 for 1000 hours, shelf life meet the specified value for load life characteristics above. Resistance to soldering heat: capacitance change is within ±10% of initial value; Dissipation factor is initial specified value or less; Leakage current is  initial specified value or less. Reference standard is JIS C-5141 and JIS C-5102. 
     Then,there are also some precautions you should know before using it. The first one is that please makesure that the environment and mounting conditions to which the capacitor to be exposed are within the conditions specified in this catalogue. The second one is operating temperature and applied ripple must be within the specifiations. The third one is you should not use aluminum electrolytic capacitors in a circuit that requires rapind and very frequent charge or discharge. In this type of circuit , it is necessary  to use special design capacitors with extended life characteristics. The forth one is that you should pay attention to the mechanical shock to the capacitor by suction nozzle of the automatic insertion machine or qutomatic mounted , or by product checker , or bu centering mechanism.
