The LAS-6350 is designed as one kind of monolithic integrated circuits for fixed frequency, pluse width modulated, switching converter applications such as step-down, step-up, flyback, forward, cuk and voltage inverting DC to DC converters and motor controls. It include a temperature compensated voltage reference, sawtooth oscillator with over-curent frequency shift, linear trailing edge pulse width modulator with double pulse suppression logic, transconductorance error amplifier, and a 5A darlington output transistor with internal current limit protection.

Some absolute maximum ratings of LAS-6350 have been concluded into several points as follow. (1)Its control circuit/ output collector voltage would be 35V. (2)Its power dissipation would be iternally limited. (3)Its thermal resistance junction to case would be 2.1°C/W. (4)Its operating junction temperature range would be from -55°C to 150°C. (5)Its storage temperature range would be from -65°C to 150°C. (6)Its lead temperature soldering would be 300°C. It should be noted that stresses above those listed in absolute maximum ratings may cause permanent damage to device.

Also some electrical characteristics of LAS-6350 are concluded as follow. (1)Its reference voltage would be min 2.1V and max 2.43V. (2)Its load regulation would be typ 0.4%Vref and would be max 1.0%Vref. (3)Its line regulation would be typ 0.9%Vref and max 1.0%Vref. (4)Its temperature coefficient would be typ 0.01%/°C. (5)Its initial frequency accuracy would be min -33% and typ +/-10% and max +33%. (6)Its line regulation of frequency would be typ 0.12%Fsx and max 2.7%Fsx. (7)Its frequency temperature coefficient would be typ 0.05%/°C. (8)Its sawtooh duty cycle would be typ 85%. (9)Its input offset voltage would be typ +/-5mV.
