The typical applications include audio equipment (tape deck, player, etc), office equipment, communications equipment, car equipment, home appliances as well as circuits so far formed with the standard logic circuits and applications where the number of controls is small.

There are some features of LC651104N as follows. First is CMOS technology for a low-power operation (with instruction-controlled standby function). The second is wide operating voltage range from 2.5 V to 6.0 V. Then is instruction cycle time of 0.92s. Next is on-chip serial I/O port. The fifth is stack level which is 8 levels (common wide interrupt). The sixth is timer which is 4-bit prescaler + 8-bit programmable timer.
